At the heart of the Guardian Warm Wall is the Kingspan TEK® structural insulated panel (SIP) system, the advanced building technology as used to to build whole houses.
A highly insulated core is sandwiched between two layers of oriented strand board (OSB). These fit together with an enhanced jointing system that ensures an excellent thermal seal achieving a thermal performance U-value of 0.18 W/m2K once fully constructed with external and internal finishes. This comfortably exceeds the requirements of UK Building Regulations meaning your new living space can be heated more quickly and efficienly than most traditionally-built extensions.
What's more, with comparable thermal qualities with less thickness, a Guardian Home Extension gives you more space to enjoy.
